Position
Summary:
The position manages a Rebate Supervisor, Rebate Coordinators, and Rebate/Pricing analysts to support the Commercial teams in the Research & Safety Market Division and Healthcare Market Division. Primary responsibilities include monitoring rebate contracts for margin compression, identifying rebate opportunities to expand margin, creating/maintaining rebate tools to be used by Selling Organization, monitor and improve rebate accuracy and compliance, & manage the Price Change Support (PCS) and other Strategic Pricing tool.
Manage the rebate contract renewal process to ensure rebates are received on time and loaded prior to effective start date.
Identify, validate, and execute on opportunities for margin improvement.
Ensure monthly reports and tracking files are created and distributed.
Report monthly on the financial health of the rebate sales & margins. Identify the contributing factors driving the rebate business and explain results to senior management.
Support the RSD and HMD divisions by keeping the leadership team involved on initiatives and opportunities.
Provide hands-on work including analyses, design, development, testing and deployment of rebate tools developed in SQL, Access, and Excel.
Coordinate with CCG rebate suppliers to ensure timely contract renewals and update on best practices.
Perform analysis and prepare executive-level reports of findings.
Minimum Requirements/
Qualifications:
Proficiency in the following areas: financial analysis and reporting, financial modeling, and profit improvement experience.
Strong business acumen as well as the ability to make logical assumptions, identify trends, incorporate internal and external information, and effectively benchmark results against appropriate baselines.
Strong written communication skills, along with clear and concise verbal skills, are required. The ideal candidate will have the ability to obtain operational buy-in with easy to understand analysis and presentations with the ability to engage in communication at the executive level.
Experience with designing new and refining existing processes and tools through use of Microsoft Access and Excel. Working knowledge of SQL is a plus.
Proven history of leading cross functional teams as well as the ability to build organizational relationships with customers, peers and operating partners.
The ability to recruit, develop and manage professional teams and the ability to provide constructive feedback through performance and development processes.
It is required that the candidate has the ability to manage multiple assignments, has good judgment, and prioritizes projects and time effectively.

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:
Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Marketing or related field
MBA Preferred
Minimum 5 years of work experience in finance or pricing
