The Critical Care Department at the University of Pittsburgh is the first of its kind in the country and includes more than 90 full-time faculty members. It employs intensivists trained in IM, EM, Anesthesia, Surgery and Pulmonary /CCMand provides 24 7 critical care coverage to over 190ICUbeds in 4 institutions. The University of Pittsburgh Multidisciplinary Critical Care Training Program trains greater than twenty-five fellows per year and has trained more than 700 fellows since its inception more than 30 years ago.

The Department of Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center is actively seeking BE/BC Intensivists to join our faculty. Opportunities for clinicians, clinician-educators and clinician scientists are available. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience and training.
Co-Director of Telemedicine Services
The Department of Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center is seeking a Co-Director of Telemedicine Services to help lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive telehealth strategy across ICUs in a 22-hospital integrated health system in Western Pennsylvania. Applications are requested from physicians who are either board certified or board eligible in Critical Care Medicine; have at least 2 years post-fellowship experience that includes experience inICUtelemedicine; and have a strong interest inICUquality improvement and regional critical care delivery. Depending on the applicant's background and expertise, a University of Pittsburgh faculty appointment in either the clinician-administrator, clinician-educator or clinician-scientist pathway may be considered. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience and training.
Director ofICUData & Analytics
The Department of Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center seeks a faculty member with experience inICUepidemiology to oversee theICUregistry of a 22-hospital integrated health system in Western Pennsylvania. The registration contains risk-adjusted clinical outcome data on all patients admitted to UPMC's 30
ICUs, and is used for benchmarking, quality improvement and research. The faculty member will work with researchers, clinicians and analysts to manage theICUregistry, develop monthly benchmarking reports, evaluate ongoing quality improvement initiatives, and disseminate the results of these initiatives.

Applications are requested from physicians who are either board certified or board eligible in Critical Care Medicine; have at least 2 years post-fellowship experience that includes experience inICUquality improvement. Masters-level training in clinical epidemiology and experience working with clinical data from electronic health records is preferred. Depending on the applicant's background and expertise, a University of Pittsburgh faculty appointment in either the clinician-administrator, clinician-educator or clinician-scientist pathway may be considered. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience and training.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
