Summary:
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for providing regional leadership and assistance in selection, set up, implementation and support of information technology solutions and business process change management projects.
You will use knowledge of manufacturing systems, financial systems, developmental tools, and data structures, in cooperation with data owners to deliver information, and analytic tools.
Responsibilities:
Provide a high level of safety support, specifically through safety observations, evaluations, and audits.
Work closely with electrical divisions, providing technical expertise and support on PLC controlled equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment issues both onsite and remotely by looking into metrics and program controls.
Participate in the development of electrical equipment preventative maintenance routines (PMRs) and bills of materials (BOMs).
Oversee the scope of engineering work for plant electrical projects.
Prepare and present estimates by analyzing numeric and descriptive information.
Travel to plants as needed (10% or less) to assist with installation and troubleshooting of equipment.
Manage accounts/projects as directed by management personnel.
Qualifications:
2- or 4-year Electrical Engineering Technology degree 3-
years' experience in an Industrial Electrical Engineer or Maintenance role Knowledge of PLC's, Operator Interfaces and Variable Frequency Drives, PLC and VFD software applications (Allen Bradley programming experience a plus) Skilled in hands-on panel building Background in industrial electrical maintenance using preventive electrical maintenance techniques Proficient in AUTOCAD Electrical Understanding of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and how they apply to automation.
Automation or robotics experience a plus.
