Position Description
The entry level Research Specialist position will assist in an established research program for translational neuroscience. The incumbent will assist in experimental neuropathology research. The Principal Investigator will train the incumbent to perform their duties as required and will closely monitor the progress. The responsibilities of this position will be to conduct behavioral experiments associated with therapeutic strategies in murine models of neurodegenerative diseases, perform molecular and cellular biology experiments, collect and analyze data related to such experiments, collect biological specimens, perform animal husbandry communicating results to colleagues, and daily maintenance of the laboratory and equipment.
Bachelor's Degree required in biological sciences with college laboratory experience.
