Job Description:
Company seeking a Senior Software Engineer.
Position will develop software for Integrated Control Center. Will be involve in the design, the code, test and commissioning of software on a cross-platform development environment. The development primarily needs coding in C / C++, some C# and .NET to control Vehicle Control and Communication Systems for an automated metro system.
- Design software code using C / C++, C# and .NET on workstations and embedded controllers based on customer requirements;
- Prepare estimates to complete work tasks, you will monitor engineering progress against budget throughout project duration;
- Oversee technical deliverables to ensure schedule and quality of work are maintained. This includes installation, design, software configuration management, RAMS, maintenance procedures and instructions, safety and quality plans and procedures;
- Prepare test procedures and support product introduction to demonstrate compliance of installed systems;
- Travel to various field sites to support installation and commissioning.
Additional Information:
The incumbent of this position must be able to travel 10% domestic or international depending on project.
Bottom Line Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related.
2. 5
years of experience in design, testing and commissioning, or maintenance of software in C# and C+
programming languages.
3. Experience using Object Oriented Design techniques.
4. Knowledge of the operation and configuration of TCP and IP networks and experience developing software in Java, using UML.
5. Local or close enough for a short easy move.
6. Knowledge of the operation and configuration of Microsoft Windows OS and related technologies such as DCOM, WCF is a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
