DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for supporting the operations of the sales team along with promoting pharmaceutical compounds sales through effective interaction with healthcare professionals and organizations to increase the awareness and use of the company's pharmaceutical offerings.
JOB DUTIES/
Responsibilities:
? Responsible for managing the day to day sales operations which include implementation and enforcement of policies and procedures, supervision and training of staff, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.
? Responsible for developing, coordinating, implementing, and measuring assignments/projects.
? Develops/Manages sales and operational sales goals for the department.
? Monitoring and managing Account Specialist productivity and quality.
? Interviews candidates for the department.
? Responsible for handling employee relations issues of the sales team with the support of Human Resources.
? Demonstrates the ability to relate to patients, customers, employees, and vendors in a professional and respectful manner.
? Maximizes revenue and market share of pharmaceutical compounds and other company products in territories and regions and achieves/exceeds sales targets.
? Analyzes the markets dynamics to ensure territories and regional sales goals and expectations are met.
? Develops and implements own territory business plan in line with company strategy and works within agreed company budgets.
? Makes compelling and persuasive sales calls to designated customers resulting in sales of pharmaceutical compounds and company products.
? Sells pharmaceuticals compounds and other company products ethically and in accordance with the companys sales process and marketing strategy.
? Resolves customer issues by investigating the problem, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
? Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, delivery, merchandising, etc.
? Adheres to all company, industry, and government guidelines such as companys Code of Conduct and Ethics, HIPAA regulations, Fraud Waste and Abuse standards and other applicable regulations.

SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry.
Comprehensive understanding of the sale model of pharmaceutical companies.
Overall understanding and experience in promoting product and services to various healthcare providers.
Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA and Fraud Waste and Abuse standards.
Comprehensive understanding of the various healthcare systems in the states of OH, IN, and MI.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
? 4 year degree from an accredited college in Business Development, Sales, Pharmaceutical or similar/ equivalent experience
? Minimum of 3 years of strong proven leadership/supervisory experience managing at least 10 direct reports required.
? Minimum of 3 years of experience in calling on medical providers required.
? Documented regional rankings in top 10% year over year.
? Maintaining a safe driving record. Must be willing and able to travel to various locations and for various events.
? Must have a valid state drivers license.
