Job Description
The eCommerce Software Developer builds and enhances the eCommerce websites. This individual will be responsible for providing technical resolution to business solutions, and supporting operations by resolving issues, complete detailed systemsrequirements gathering and making enhancements. The developer creates efficient and structured code, and will work with QA and support to debug and resolve any issues with it. The person will also collaborate with different teams, and triage technical issues across them. The position works cross functionally with Marketing, IT, Pricing, Sales, and Customer Service.
Detailed Description
Coding and enhancing existing eCommerce Java/J2EE/Spring website.
Partake in training and development in the hybris eCommerce platform and the Endeca search engine
Interfacing with internal customer representatives and project management team to provide technical solutions
Assisting in large scale / complex projects to come up with high level designs and estimates
Troubleshooting business and production issues
Participating in team design and development meetings
Participating in functional testing and performance testing.
Job Requirements &
Qualifications:
Experience:
5 years software development experience required
3 years development in a Java/J2EE/Spring website require
3 years experience leading application development and roll-out type projects required
EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related required
Java Certification required
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
Expert in Java, J2EE, and Spring required
Experience with SQL required
Experience with linux required
Experience with hybris required
Experience with Endeca required
Experience with Javascript requiredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
