Summary:
The Network Analyst is responsible for managing, monitoring, maintaining and enhancing the USS corporate enterprise data network, including LAN, WAN, wireless, data center and various complementary technologies and systems. The Network Analyst provides technology expertise and process leadership in the application of new and existing technologies in order to deliver comprehensive solutions to USS customers.
Major
Responsibilities:
Responsible for all aspects of the health and stability of the USS data network.
Support for data network incident and event management including investigation, troubleshooting, reporting, resolution, root cause analysis and corrective action management.
Designs network solutions using approved, standard technology in cooperation with peers, vendors and partners.
Manages Data Networking projects and contributes to projects across the entire organization.
Investigates new technology and innovative solutions including identification, testing and business case development.
Monitors data networks for performance, security and stability takes action to identify trends and proactively address issues.
Contributes to core business processes including business plan development, expense tracking, project planning & development, demand plan management, inventory tracking, standards compliance, audit coordination, and disaster recovery/business continuity planning.
Minimum Requirements:
Demonstrated experience supporting data networking technologies in an enterprise environment.
LAN switching and routing in a Cisco enterprise network environment.
Wireless LAN support including RF fundamentals, design & configuration, security management, troubleshooting and monitoring.
On call support required, including participation in team on call (24/7) rotation; candidate must be willing to work flexible hours as demanded by outage / on-call activities and international team needs.
Education:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent Enterprise IT support work experience
Preferred
Qualifications:
WAN architecture, troubleshooting and support including MPLS VPN technology and vendor management, incident management and performance monitoring
Advance IP routing experience, including BGP protocol proficiency
Data center network support including Cisco Nexus platform
Internet routing and security
IP load balancing technology (F5)
Advanced Network Security technology and solutions (IDS/IPS, Firewall, Network Admission Control, SIEM)
IP Telephony in a Cisco environment including Call Manager, Unity and related platforms
Experience with the following technology or solutions is a plus:
Server administration including Virtualization technology (VMWare/other)
Enterprise storage solutions including SAN / FCoIP / iSCSI and related technology
Virtual desktop solutions
Demonstrated experience managing vendor relationships, including incident management, project coordination, relationship development and SLA maintenance

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
