Electrical Drafter/Designer - Melt Shop
6 month minimum contract - Full time, day shift

My client is seeking a Contract Electrical Drafter/Designer for their Melt Shop located in Pittsburgh. They provide steel plant and metals industry equipment and services for the metal producing markets of the United States, Canada, and Mexico. They are experience great business opportunities and need to expand their design team.
The Contract Electrical Drafter/Designer
Assist lead electrical engineers in drawing coordination
Produce the project electrical drawings and maintain master drawing lists
Perform electrical liaison interface with the mechanical drafting, procurement and Project Management in support of the electrical drafting effort
Occasional onsite visits/surveys at client locations - travel approximately 10%
Contract Electrical Drafter/Designer requirements are

years of experience drafting or designing electrical components and products for the metal industry
High proficiency in AutoCad Electrical is required
Solid Knowledge of MS Excel & Word
Additional Knowledge of installation electrical design
Experience with multiple CAD software -Inventor, Solidworks, etc.-is highly desired and preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
