Sr.Specialist, Product Manager

The specialist product manager will report to the NEXEN Information Delivery Product Manager and be responsible for proposing, implementing, and maintaining a governance structure to support the overall reduction of reports, shutdown of BNY Mellon's legacy reporting systems, and adoption of NEXEN. He/she will lead cross-functional teams to guide stakeholders from across BNY Mellon to the most appropriate NEXEN information delivery solution (API, dashboard, report, etc.) and assist in the realization of that solution. The candidate will also be responsible for formalizing the way in which the training and support teams obtain new NEXEN Gateway service knowledge and stay abreast of enhancements. He/she will be responsible for proposing solutions for improving knowledge sharing and following through to the implementation of the final solution. As a member of the Technology Product Management team, the candidate will have additional product management responsibilities and the opportunity to work on other NEXEN services.
Desirable candidates will have hands-on experience as product managers or project managers of technology products such as web portals, APIs, big data or app stores/platforms. Candidates could come from innovation centers, design thinking environments and financial services firms - large, small or even start-up.
Assists in leading cross-functional sessions with teams such as Development and Marketing. Ensures project is on time and to budget.
Analyzes and defines the product's business case based on team and industry reports. Prioritizes product requirements and further investigates product feasibility. Responsible for addressing customer feedback and concerns. Assists in determining product responsibilities and scope.
Contributes to the achievement of area objectives.
Qualifications
Required:
