JOB DESCRIPTION Primary Responsibilities Partners with the Business Units and Regional Leads to execute and refine the global aluminum strategy for primary aluminum and other value-added products. Develops and places RFQ's in the market and develops new suppliers. Responsible for all monthly spend and spot purchases. Responsible for contract management and supply chain activities. Responsible for cost saving reporting for their aluminum categories. Gathers market intelligence and understand market dynamics for both the commodities and the key raw material inputs for these commodities. Key Objectives Achieve Procurement targets inclusive of cost, innovation, quality, and supplier performance. Manage to key organizational KPI's to align the Procurement team with top business objectives. Serve as a conduit between the Global Metal Procurement Team and site manager, controller, technical team, sales and operations team, and transportation at each location. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited Institution. 7 years of experience in metals purchasing. Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S> person as a U.S> citizen, U.S> Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee. Preferred Qualifications MBA in Business Administration/Economics or similar. Proficiency in MS Office Suite. Decision-making. Strong Communication skills. Innovative, Strategic thinker. Customer-oriented.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
