Manager, Allocations & Replenishment- Lodge at Dicks Sporting Goods in Pittsburgh, PA

The Manager of Allocations and Replenishment develops and implements Allocation and/or Replenishment strategies with the Planners and Merchants. These strategies will determine how to most effectively utilize our inventory to support merchandise plan, advertising, regional, and competitive initiatives. The Manager of Allocations and Replenishment also mentors, trains, develops and manage day-to day activities of the Inventory Planning Associates. Job
Responsibilities:
Participate in cross functional team projects to facilitate change and improvement with processes, systems, people, etc to help the organization grow. Collaborate with Buyers and Planners on item flow based on ladder plans, backstock management, E3 forecasts and advertising schedule. Recommend and execute inventory re-balancing opportunities as necessary. Review regular in stock reporting for key and advertised items. Determine actions to correct instock issues in a timely manner. Work with Inventory Planning Associates to drive and implement allocation and replenishment strategies, including regional and seasonal opportunities. Create ad-hoc analysis to react to current and future business trends and present findings to Buyers and Planners and senior management. Communicate with and work with the stores and distribution centers on inventory strategies to support the business Monitor new store performance after opening, communicate with new store team and field support team to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained. Ensure new stores open with the correct assortment and appropriate inventory levels as determined by the new store plan. Participate in cross functional team projects to facilitate change and improvement with processes, systems, people, etc to help the organization grow. Mentor, train, develop and manage day-to day activities of Inventory Planning Associates. They also encourage others to seek opportunities for different and innovative approaches to addressing problems and opportunities; facilitates the implementation and acceptance of change within the organization. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience 7
years business experience (Retail buying, planning or allocations preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft applications with strong emphasis in Excel JDA Allocations and/or E3 experience a plus
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Supply Chain & LogisticsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
