Project Manager Distribution-engineering & Admin at Dicks Sporting Goods in Pittsburgh, PA
The role of the Project Manager (PM) is to manage supply chain projects; including new building construction, material handling equipment installations, and capital retrofit projects. The PM must have the capabilities to coordinate various consulting partners, DSG personnel, contractors and subcontractors to accomplish project goals. Day to day project administration activities include tracking budgets, invoice processing, leading meetings, managing schedules, drawing reviews, and tracking open issues. Project Administration, including adherence to the project budget, scope, schedule, quality, and risk mitigation. Coordination of multiple stakeholders including consulting partners, DSG personnel, vendors, contractors and subcontractors (as required) Project follow-up, conflict resolution, and resolving day to day issues by partnering with Distribution Center teams including operations, loss prevention, maintenance, system admins, and logistics. Work in tandem with the Senior Facilities Manager by performing quantitative analyses to support Supply Chain run capital projects Bachelor's Degree-Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management Advanced degree preferred 5-7 years prior experience -- material handling and/or consulting experience managing capital projects Ability to travel up to 25% (capped at 50%) Experience with managing large material handling installations and/or large building construction projects Use analytically sound problem solving methodologies and make effective use of available resources Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively communicate to all levels of any organization Creation of executive reports and presentations Skilled at handling multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously Experience managing capital budgets and/or project budgets
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
