Manager Of Interior Architecture And Design at Dicks Sporting Goods in Pittsburgh, PA
Manage the overall interior store design architecture standards and aesthetics including but not limited to the interior prototype document management, project specific drawing reviews of the interior details, and the value engineering process for all banners. Collaborates with internal and external partners to provide total project cost for budget development and manage cost within budgetary parameters. Trains and develops a team of talented interior architects and designers to develop an in-store environment for a great customer shopping experience in support of all corporate strategies to increase sales and grow the business. Drawing Reviews Manages the process to review the interior details of project specific documents with the architect, national account vendors and other internal partners to ensure they are current and accurate with minimal error and omissions. Collaborates with In-store Communication to select and execute project specific and prototypical graphics improvement plans (GIP) Prototype Document Management Manage the process with internal and external partners to ensure the interior prototype documents are accurate per company standards biannually. Manages the process to ensure the Prototype Managing Architect (PMA) adhere to all company requirements. Ensures the team maintains the interior drawings accurate and orderly archives. Manages a library of interior details and prototypical color and material finish boards. Cost Management/Value Engineering Manages and tracks the value engineering process to develop and facilitate prototypical specific cost working with internal and external partners on all banners. Continually finds and presents cost savings ideas as not to negatively impact the customer experience. Prepares preliminary package for pricing to establish budgets and/or next steps on key projects. Renderings/Drawings Ensures all designers are skilled and talented in creating Revit sketches and 3D renderings to support the need to review design details before proceeding with the project. Supervising and Developing Talent Manages the execution responsibilities and workload of self and direct reports to achieve department deliverables on-time, within budgetary parameters and with quality. Provide direct reports with timely and regular feedback to support associate development/growth in role. Establish strategic staffing and succession plans within span of control and gain Director support; successfully deliver on proposed staffing objectives. Drive talent selection process for open direct report positions; ensure all direct reports are appropriately trained and on-boarded. Bachelor's Degree -in Architecture and/or Interior Design 7-10 Years of Experience Strong background with a national retail chain, architectural firm and/or interior design firm Architect or Interior Design License preferred but not required Excellent Revit skills required 3D Studio Max preferred

$100K -- $150K
