As a Cloud Engineer, you will work within the Corporate IT function, working within the Global Infrastructure Services organization. You are responsible to craft, configure, and implement robust and resilient technology solutions to meet business objectives. You will do this with a focus on automation and systems monitoring, ensuring supportable and reliable operations. Key Responsibilities o Connect with Internal PPG customers about cloud migration strategy and schedules. o Lead high-complexity projects, advising activities across team members to ensure technical requirements are met and work with internal customers and vendors to craft appropriate solutions to meet business objectives. o Work across Global Infrastructure and operational support teams to resolve technical issues related to technology implementation while identifying risks with the cloud and determine risk-mitigation plans. o Serve as a technical mentor for junior members of the team; assisting in technical decision making, problem resolution, and project execution mentorship. o Identify process improvement opportunities, including automation and self-service. o Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology with 3
years of demonstrable experience working within IT Infrastructure. o Proficient with technologies within the specialization area, with a broad understanding of other infrastructure technologies. o Proven expertise in automation and scripting languages, including PowerShell. o Knowledge of operating systems, networking technology and protocols, cyber security, data centers, programming languages, web tools and VMware and virtualization If you possess a demonstrable understanding about concepts and moving parts involved with continuous integration and continuous delivery of cloud services, apply today!
