JOB DESCRIPTION Primary Responsibilities Manage third party payroll vendor and unemployment vendor relationship Participate as an internal payroll consultant, and point of expertise, to all Arconic's businesses and customer/user groups Manage and/or participate in projects involving the Alight team as well as other Resource/Business Units within Arconic, and other outside vendors. Manage 2-3 direct reports Ensure payroll regulatory compliance by possessing detailed knowledge and understanding of payroll and multi-state payroll tax withholding and filing requirements Prepare quarterly forecast and yearly budget for department Prepare quarterly performance metrics related to US Payroll Address payroll related issues brought to the Payroll team Oversee year-end payroll processing and W-2 preparation Understand & stay informed of labor agreement changes that may impact payroll Other duties as assigned by upper management Key Objectives This position in the Financial Shared Services organization of Arconic is responsible for working directly with our payroll outsourcer to ensure accurate payroll processing for Arconic's US employee population administered by Alight. This position is also responsible for managing or participating in projects involving the Alight team as well as other Resource/Business Units within Arconic, and other outside vendors. Establish and maintain a high level of customer interaction and focus to identify improvement opportunities and recommend solutions to solve business issues. Operate within Arconic standards and conventions BU/RU standards. Demonstrate a deep understanding of the business processes in area(s) of assignment. Pursue continuous learning consistent with the movement in the job requirements and changes in technology and service delivery. Provide solutions that meet the needs of the customer following Arconic standards and conventions and return value to the business. Provide subject matter expertise in the processes and systems in assigned area(s) of responsibility. Through data analyses identify areas for improvement and develop plans to address those areas. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution Minimum five (5) years of payroll-related experience in a corporate environment Minimum five (5) years of experience with a payroll application in a corporate environment Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Qualified candidate must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the relevant government agency. Business demands may require employer to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology. Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
