JOB DESCRIPTION Primary Responsibilities Manage state government relations activity in the U.S. for Arconic, in select states where the company has a presence, working with staff at each Arconic location as well as senior executives to implement policies that further the company's business objectives. Develops and recommends action plans and supervises implementation, seeking positive regulatory outcomes, capturing tax incentives and grants and building a positive overall business environment through state and local legislation. Advocate on behalf of Arconic in state capitols and city halls, with staff, agencies, associations and stakeholders. Provide public officials with timely information regarding Arconic's public policy positions, business operations, and innovation initiatives. Engage with key associations to influence and direct policy development to support Arconic business objectives. Represent the company in coalitions supporting Arconic priorities. Establish strong relationships with key internal partners to develop a deep knowledge of the business and the industry. Serve as single-point leader on key issues at the state and federal level. Manages assigned federal legislative and regulatory issues, developing and managing cross-functional teams to address issues. Support Government Affairs through research and gathering strategic insight to inform briefing documents and talking points for internal and external consumption, and as knowledge base for informed decision-making. Prepare and support senior-level executives in their interaction with government officials. Provide company leaders with opportunities to develop relationships with elected officials by coordinating visits, tours, and attendance at events. Manage the Arconic Political Action Committee (PAC). Key Objectives Be aware of, track, and educate internal stakeholders on key policy positions that impact Arconic businesses. Advocate on behalf of Arconic and its customers and lead State and Local Government Affairs in the US for Arconic locations that improve Arconic position in the market and align with Arconic values. Develop and execute Congressional and Administration engagement strategy on topics as assigned Develop pipeline of incentives to support Arconic operations. Develop and execute contributions strategy for Arconic PAC aligned with Arconic values and business initiatives. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. 7 years minimum experience in policy, advocacy, or government affairs at the Federal or State level. Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Qualified candidate must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the relevant government agency. Business demands may require employer to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology. Skills/Preferred Qualifications Strong project management skills. Detail-oriented and deeply committed to meeting internal and external deadlines with high quality work. Team player, willing to accept assignments along the full range of skill set to ensure organizational success. Strong written and verbal skills, ability to adapt communications to different targeted audiences. Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with leadership and teams across the organization. Experience with state and local incentives and/or understanding of the Congressional appropriations process, and the implications for business operations. A high level of discretion and confidentiality; ability to deal with ambiguity and influencing without direct authority. Position could be located in Washington DC for the right candidate. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Government & MilitaryEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
