Low Voltage Telecom Field Service Tech / Installer

Quick Apply Full-time 1 day ago Full Job Description We are searching for a reliable, self-starter individual who can handle a variety of service call install, rollouts, cable pull, etc in Pittsburgh and surrounding areas on a 1099 contracted basis willing to start immediately.
You will need the skills and tools to build a full network from start to finish including building out the network rack, running cabling, the device installs, cabling terminations, cable testing, etc.
Must be familiar with camera systems, WiFi access points, reading schematics and floor plans, have good troubleshooting skills, be capable of learning and following instructions, and work with remote tech support.
Experience with phone systems, PBX, VOIP, analog lines, paging, audio/video, etc is a strong suit.
Access control and fire alarm techs welcome Requirements:
Must have your own transportation.
Must have a smartphone.
Must have a laptop & Tools to complete full Network build-out.
Qualifications:
Looking for those experienced with cat5e, Telephone systems, Access points, VOIP, Network racks, 66 blocks, and PBX systems.
Fiber a plus
Responsibilities:
Service calls, installs, surveys, etc.
Check-in and out of jobs via phone and application, provide notes, photos, deliverables Compensation:
Up to $35.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
