The 24/7/365 Noram Security Center (NSC) is in the Robinson Township area, just outside the City of Pittsburgh.
US&C Security Operations Center is responsible for monitoring the safety and security of employees and assets throughout the United States and Canada for our client, a prestigious high-tech international corporation.
The Security Operations Center is staffed 24/7/365 by a Shift Lead, 1-3 Operators, and a Threat Analyst, all under the guidance of the US&C Manger of Global Security.
SOC operators use a variety of tools and platforms to conduct operational oversight of North American coordinating, alarm responses, physical security, surveillance cameras, incident investigation, readiness audits, technical failures, facilities issues, and emergency responses.
NSC also monitors open-source media and business intelligence sources to detect any potential threats and/or conditions that could adversely impact client operations, assets, and personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities of Operators:
CCTV and alarm monitoring; Dispatching; Reviewing Incident Reports and preparing well-written, coherent, summarized information disbursement to stakeholders; Conducting video reviews of incidents; Acting as the hub for all emergency and routine communications; Overseeing access control and credentialing; Creating and maintaining Incident Reports; Submitting work orders and maintenance requests.
Monitoring open-source media and business intelligence sources to detect any potential threats and/or conditions that could adversely impact client operations, assets, and personnel.
Triaging and liaising with security, law enforcement, and emergency teams in response to events; Producing and daily and weekly summary reports; Working collaboratively with the Security Leadership Team to prepare for, respond to, and recover from all incidents and crisis events that may impact business operations; and Ensuring proper escalation of events/issues to appropriate stakeholders.
Required:
A criminal record devoid of felonies or serious misdemeanors; Excellent knowledge of Windows or Mac computer operation, including Microsoft Office or G-Suite products; Ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced work environment, across multiple platforms, departments, time zones, and cultures; Ability to work calmly and accurately in crisis situations; Ability to assess and evaluate information and situations quickly and accurately, and to identify critical issues; Excellent oral and written communication skills in English; Excellent customer service and phone skills; Focused, organized, and detail-oriented; A desire to work as a dependable, participating team player with a positive attitude; Authorization to work in the United States; HS Diploma or GED; and A willingness to work varied shift hours, including overnights, weekends, and holidays.
Schedules generally rotate monthly between Daylight-Afternoon-Night shifts.
Preferred/Plus:
Degree or relevant experience in lieu of a degree is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with threat assessment/analysis is a plus.
Military experience is a plus.
Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
Working knowledge of security systems for access control, CCTV, employee/guest/vendor badging, alarm monitoring, and dispatch, is a plus.
Experience with different communication platforms and technologies, including 2-way radios, IP video surveillance, and computer databases, is a plus.
