Quick Apply Full-time 16 hours ago Full Job Description The duties of a Warehouse Specialist include maintaining a clean, organized, accurate and efficient supply chain space for medical products, instrumentation, and equipment.
This position is responsible for correctly ordering, accepting shipments and stocking supplies used for medical procedures.
In addition, this position will proactively pick and stage orders for clinical staff to effectively provide quality care.
This position reports to the territory Clinical Manager.
Supervisory
Responsibilities:
None Duties/Responsibilities Maintain an adequate and accurate inventory to provide excellent patient care and premium customer service Order, secure and stage surgical supplies and instrumentation as required per customer orders Order, secure and stage IOL requirements per customer orders Maintain IOL consignments Create and maintain an organized, clean and compliant warehouse environment Monitor all assigned inventory locations for expiration dates and sterility of products and rotate stock as needed.
Effectively collaborate with management and other Team members to achieve Vantage goals Ensure all warehouse functions are appropriate, safe, and cost-effective Promptly and professionally respond to emails, calls and texts Performs other related duties as assigned by management Provide Vantage surgical coordinator services as needed Maintenance and upkeep of company vehicles assigned to the warehouse territory Requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills Outstanding customer service skills Understanding of warehouse policies and procedures Ability to analyze information and make sound judgment relative to supply chain and customer service Ability to travel if needed Ability to complete Vantage clinical training to serve in Surgical Coordinator role if needed Education and
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid State Driver's License Previous warehouse experience is preferred Ability to utilize and navigate inventory control systems Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Prolonged standing Must be able to access, traverse and navigate Operations facility Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must be able to push or pull up to 50 pounds Ability so safely operate a delivery vehicle COMPANY OVERVIEW Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Effingham, IL, Vantage provides support services for cataract and other ophthalmologic procedures.
