The basic function of this role is continuous improvement.
This position will provide leadership over the critical business processes used within manufacturing, specifically maintenance teams.
This role will require good practical understanding of equipment and maintenance along with Maximo acumen.
Within Maximo, this would include the incident reporting, management of change, investigations (RCFA), defect elimination and asset utilization processes.
It would also include the development of new processes as deemed necessary by the business.
The position may have administration level security within the Maximo enterprise asset management (EAM) software.
They will review and facilitate change request that affect global work processes.
The position will provide overall leadership of Maximo software upgrades and collaborate with operations, procurement, engineering and IT technical support to drive successful outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Leadership of site manufacturing maintenance teams to identify critical spares, create proper inventories, configure Maximo, provide hands-on work for client's Maximo Corporate Implementation Team Lead teams of manufacturing personnel in the maintenance and continuous improvement of critical work processes.
Assign priorities to all Maximo help desk tickets.
Ownership and regular reporting of asset utilization data.
Maintain and update Maximo training documentation.
Develop and deliver Maximo training to all functional groups.
Identify, develop and deliver training for manufacturing work processes.
Work collaboratively with the Maximo IT administrator in the development of complex application changes and software updates.
Provide duties of a Maximo Administrator (Application) including:
Development of QBR's - query based reports Report administration Basic application development (domains, application design) Develop and manage communication templates Develop and manage resources (labor, people, craft, crews) Management of KPI's and Start Centers Create and manage escalations Education Requirements / Work
Experience:
Good practical ability to support Maintenance Operations in a manufacturing setting inclusive of critical spares, inventory control, Maximo Configuration, and training maintenance teams on Maximo SOPs and work practice.
3-5
years Manufacturing Maintenance Experience Experience in Carbon, Steel, Refractory, or similar manufacturing sites a plus 3-5
years of experience with a Maximo implementation Technical degree and/or relevant certifications Work experience in a manufacturing environment Certifications:
CMRP preferred.
An IBM Certified Deployment Professional - Maximo Asset Management v7.
6 Functional Analyst certification is preferred.
Holder of IBM IOT training badges preferred.
Travel:
Freqenent - hotels and per diem provided, based in Pittsburgh, but most time will be sent a 4 manufacturing sites - OH, NC, PA Applicants can be located anywhere in US provided willingness to travel.
Majority of work will be on-site at manufacturing sites.
