We are seeking to add an innovative self-starting Commercial Electrical Estimator to join our growing team.
This electrical estimator will drive success as an integral part of TUDI Mechanical Systems Commercial Electrical Department.
This is a highly analytical role, requiring the ability to quickly assess and analyze multiple data points, including blueprints, material costs, and timelines, to deliver an accurate estimate Job Title:
Commercial Electrical Estimator
Responsibilities:
Work closely with Electrical Sales team to determine costs and potential profitability for our commercial electrical projects Occasionally perform site visits to customer locations to ensure full understanding of scope of work Thoroughly assess and outline project requirements including materials, job duration, and labor Assist Electrical Sales team in developing complete estimate used during proposal development process.
Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors Utilize and maintain accurate pricing in estimation software
Qualifications:
Previous commercial electrical experience required A.
S.
in Electrical Technology or previous electrical schooling required Experience with estimation software preferred Familiarity with Microsoft products including Outlook and Excel Ability to analyze and assess multiple data points, including blueprints, material costs, and timelines to deliver an accurate estimate on time and within budget Well-developed oral and written communication skills Valid Driver's License (required) Ability to work well in a team environment (required) Be self-motivated (required) Compensation &
