Apartment Maintenance, Plumbing and Electrical
Aishel Real Estate Aishel Real Estate Pittsburgh, PA Pittsburgh, PA Full-time Full-time $16 - $25 an hour $16 - $25 an hour We are looking for an organized and skilled Handyman or Maintenance Technician with enough plumbing and electrical experience and great people skills to operate on their own with only limited involvement from a supervisor.
Job Description Address open and incoming work orders and service requests thoroughly, professionally, efficiently and in a timely fashion.
Perform maintenance work including minor plumbing repairs, minor electrical repairs, HVAC troubleshooting and maintenance, changing locks, appliance repairs, grounds-keeping etc.
Turn vacant apartments and prepare them for sale or rent Preserve and improve the condition and functionality of the property and units.
Report back to the manager and administrator on completed work orders so that they can be closed out and tracked in our online service request system.
Note and report other issues discovered upon the repair visit so that follow up service requests can be created as needed.
Assist with general upkeep and cleaning procedures (e.
g.
landscaping) Provide AMAZING customer service for our tenants while consistently improving the long term value for the investors and owners HAVE A GREAT ATTITUDE Be a team player and provide exemplary customer service to our tenants.
Skills Proven experience as maintenance technician Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, heating, cooling and hydraulic and other systems Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime, if needed High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus Attention to detail.
Ability to work alone with limited direction from a supervisor and be responsible for observing all health and safety guidelines.
