Desktop Support Specialist

A large retail client is seeking a Desktop Technician to sit onsite in the Pittsburgh, PA area.
This position is for a technical Desktop Support Specialist who will be handling ticketing support at level 2 and 3 through Jira.
They will be functioning as the Technical desktop support specialist that will be involved in the daily support of the business as well as working directly on refresh projects and interacting with the user community as well as other team members within the organization.
Support users and resources of the MAC and PC Hardware and software environment to ensure effective use of resources and user productivity and satisfaction.
Responsible for all aspects of systems configuration, performance, and operation.
Assist in the deployment of PC technology throughout the organization.
Responsibilities include:
PC Refresh Project Unbox and Install New PCs, Laptops and Printers Troubleshoot hardware and software issues Once new equipment installs are complete, cleanup work area and complete an inventory on equipment to make sure all old/new equipment has been accounted for Inventory and Decommission old equipment Wipe decommissioned hard drives using a provided wipe disk Work with Logistics to schedule a pickup of old equipment Troubleshoot hardware and software issues Minimum Requirements -3
years of desktop support experience -Trouble tickets/remote troubleshooting experience -Experience supporting Windows 10 -Strong communication skills and customer service Desired Skills -MAC hardware support experience -Experience refreshing desktops Recommended Skills Communication Computer Architectures Customer Service Jira Laptops Microsoft Windows Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
