Role DescriptionAs a Purchasing Support Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting early development purchasing by coordinating purchase requests for engineering prototypes & production builds, establishing purchasing efficiency systems, and sourcing and onboarding appropriate suppliers.
You'll have the chance to work with a cross-functional team including Engineering, Supply Chain, Purchasing Operations, Inventory Management, Production, NPI and Finance.
This role will cover all purchasing activities prior to the Purchase Order going out.
This opportunity is based out of Form Energy's Eighty Four, PA facility.
Relocation assistance is available.
What You'll Do:
Coordinate with planning, production, and engineering to establish purchasing systems such as kanban, standing orders, blanket orders, etc.
Coordinate with key suppliers to maintain material delivery schedules and ensure teams receive materials and components on-time for engineering and production builds Coordinate with material planning, purchasing, and sourcing to ensure demand requirements are matched by supply needs Submit purchase requests for engineering parts, prototypes, and production components to support critical build schedules Assist Purchase Operations with supplier onboarding and the procure-to-pay process What You'll Bring:

years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), Supply Chain, Purchasing, Sourcing, or related field Experience managing procurements for prototype & production builds Experience managing, organizing, and maintaining large quantities of data Experience working with multiple different teams in an R&D environment Experience in the procure-to-pay and sourcing processes Experience with PLM tools (Arena +) and ERP Tools (Oracle Fusion +) #LI-CB1The California salary range for this role is $93,930-$115,845.
The Pennsylvania salary range for this role is $81,680-$100,735.
The range listed is what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of this posting.
We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and may be modified in the future.
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
