Facilities Maintenance Technician

The University of Pittsburgh Facilities Management department is seeking to hire a Facilities Service Technician.
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible to make sure that custodial equipment is in good condition and always functional.
Manages the procurement process for the purchase of new equipment, creates and maintains equipment repair logs for all departmentally owned equipment, including tracking of warranty information for new purchases.
Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
Inspects zone equipment weekly, monthly and quarterly to assure that is functional, or if it needs any repair or to be replaced.
Receive parts from orders and assemble equipment.
Inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunction.
Makes recommendations and searches various equipment in cases of upgrading those for the betterment of the department or zone.
Responsible for the cleaning windows and entrance glass as assigned.
Maintain weekly service log of window cleaning performed.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
