Investment Operations Analyst - Pittsburgh, PA

Are you ready to be part of an exciting journey in the financial services industry? As an Investment Operations Analyst, you will be at the heart of our investment operations, responsible for processing service requests with precision and maintaining the highest level of accuracy.
Your meticulous attention to detail will be instrumental in conducting regular quality control checks, resolving issues to minimize operational risk, and creating solutions that increase the efficiency of the company.
What You'll Do Process interdepartmental requests in the Portfolio Accounting System, including account opening, closing, investment model changes, and asset movements.
Review and process interdepartmental requests using the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Conduct data audits (daily, monthly, quarterly) for accuracy from Custodians and Recordkeepers.
Maintain systems error logs and generate reports for Fort Pitt Department Heads.
Create and manage manual investment accounts by interpreting client custodial statements.
Perform research on corporate actions, cost basis, and pricing.
Implement solutions for automation and process improvement.
What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, technology OR equivalent work experience.
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills heavily using functions like vlookup and pivot tables.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team structure and across functional departments.
Effective prioritization and time management skills for managing multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities.
Problem-solving skills with the ability to bring reported problems to successful resolution.
Experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating standard operating procedures for increased operational efficiency.
Preferences Strong working knowledge of financial services with 3 years of relevant experience in Financial Services Industry 3 years of client service experience Orion Connect or similar portfolio accounting software Schwab Advisor Services, Fidelity Wealthscape, or TD Ameritrade Institutional Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar CRM system Microsoft Power BI or Power Automate Fort Pitt offers its eligible employees a comprehensive and competitive total rewards package, including:
