Job Description:
Purpose of this Position:
The Branch Manager (BM) is accountable for the profitable achievement of sales objectives associated with the assigned region, segment and sales team managed.
The BM is responsible for their assigned team's sales productivity and directs their effort to open new accounts and sell more product into existing accounts in order to have the greatest overall impact on company results.
The BM manages all aspects of running an efficient sales team, including supervising, coaching, holding team accountable, and motivating the assigned sales team.
Scope of Authority:
This position reports to the Director of Sales.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1.
Prioritizes coaching and performance management efforts to have the greatest overall impact on business results.
2.
Coordinates with Director of Sales, the involvement of sales support personnel, including customer support, service and management resources, so that team performance objectives and customers' expectations are met.
3.
Develops & maintains branch initiatives in conjunction with the Director of Sales and support from Marketing.
4.
Proactively inspects sales activity and effort amongst assigned sales team, ensuring that the quality and quantity of sales effort and results meet company objectives and provides periodic updates to management.
Ensures all company tools such as ERP & CRP software are fully utilized.
Regularly discusses each person's accountabilities & results.
5.
Identifies areas of improvement amongst assigned sales team, and works to improve individuals' capabilities through coaching, development, and training.
6.
Directs and supports the consistent implementation of company initiatives.
7.
Regularly reviews the performance of assigned sales team members by ensuring the proper use of sales techniques, including account and territory planning methodologies and customer communication techniques.
Actively makes joint calls with sales team and provides constructive feedback.
8.
Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer requirements and satisfaction by engaging key customer accounts in conjunction with assigned sales team.
Provides a management-level point of contact for key customers.
Builds and maintains strong customer relationship.
9.
Builds peer support and strong internal company relationships with other key management personnel.
10.
Perform other company functions as required in related or non-related areas.

Qualifications Four year college degree from accredited institution or related experience Minimum of five years of sales management experience in a business to business sales environment.
