We provide funding to local and overseas partner agencies, as well as independent programs that provide health and human welfare services.
POSITION SUMMARY The Development Coordinator role encompasses diverse responsibilities, including general administrative duties, meeting and calendar coordination, and campaign data management.
You'll run weekly reports for the Federation's Community Campaign and financial reports for the Finance team.
You'll handle event logistics with various stakeholders, collaborating with marketing on promotional material.
The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, an eye for detail, and experience working in a CRM and with Excel spreadsheets.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Handling general administrative tasks such as typing, filing, scheduling, and maintaining office supplies.
Coordinating departmental staff meetings and updating various calendars.
Overseeing donor electronic files, updating campaign documentation, and assisting the Campaign Team with diverse tasks.
Generating weekly acknowledgment and payment reports for the Development and Finance departments, including but not limited to acknowledging pledges, stocks, bonds, and IRAs.
Managing event logistics, including liaising with site managers, vendors, and caterers.
This also involves working events, maintaining related correspondence, and making conference reservations.
Preparing financial documentation such as check requests, expense reports, and purchase orders.
Collaborating with the marketing team for event and campaign material production.
Performing data entry into the donor database, tracking event registrations, and generating donor reports.
Ensuring timely and personalized donor acknowledgments, keeping a meticulous record of all related communications.
Preferred Qualifications The ideal candidate will have demonstrated skills, knowledge, and experience in the following areas:
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and Outlook.
Proficient in completing mail mergers and completing mailings as needed.
Experience working with a database.
Admin experience.
Professional demeanor, discretion, and tact.
Dependability and ability to maintain confidentiality.
EDUCATION Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
