Carnegie Mellon University is searching for a Research Associate to join the Electrical and Computer Engineering department.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment.
You will contribute to the department by assisting in the development and execution of research projects, including experiment design, analysis of data collected, and writing up experiment results.
Your core responsibilities will include:
Performing research experiments following experimental protocol and procedures.
Researching and documenting information by compiling and maintaining accurate and detailed records.
Summarizing statistical information for analysis, examination, or presentation.
Identifying problems and obstacles to progress and developing strategies to solve problems.
Other duties as assigned.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
