Remote or Hybrid/Based out of Pittsburgh, PAJob SummaryAs an Energy Modeler, you will be responsible for creating, analyzing, and reviewing energy models by providing energy efficiency consulting to clients, performing energy management system evaluation, and developing carbon reduction strategies.
You will make daily decisions based on ASHRAE, LEED, and BREEAM standards, and review energy models created by team members to provide oversight on.
You will be analyzing consumption and usage patterns within utility analyses, make recommendations for energy efficiency measures, calculate, and propose carbon/emission reductions and develop business case and metrics supporting a client's energy goals.
Ideal CandidateRequirements Five to seven years of experience related directly to energy modeling Professional credentials such as LEED AP, CEM, CEA, BEMP, BESA, EIT/PE.
Candidates with similar credentials may be considered.
Have in-depth experience creating and analyzing energy models with EnergyPlus, eQuest (DOE 2.
3) software or similar software tools Experience in Energy Audits and Energy Benchmarking Possess detailed technical understanding of one or more of the following subjects:
HVAC systems, electrical systems, common construction methods, construction planning, renewable energy production, energy purchasing, and energy use GHG impact Job Duties Provide quality reviews of energy model inputs and outputs performed by others and recommend technical review commentary based on ASHRAE 90.
1 Appendix G and LEED modeling protocols.
Create and supervise the creation of new energy models for clients in a variety of consulting scenarios including LEED compliance, project design development, and ECM development projects.
Enable projects to pursue Net Zero energy and/or carbon.
Be able to communicate the strategies necessary to achieve these goals and effectively guide projects to understand the energy, cost, and environmental impacts or either energy or carbon strategies Perform technical review of LEED project submittals in the LEED BD+C v4 and v4.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
