85 an hour 3 days ago 3 days ago 3 days ago Part visionary and problem solver, as the Product Manager Intermediate, you will work closely with actuary, finance, sales and account management to maintain commercial product performance and strategize on portfolio changes.
This is a hybrid position.
Travel to the office is required 3 days a week.
Responsibilities:
Work with different functional areas within Health Plan to create, implement and monitor new products and programs.
Deliver business and financial results through the selection, design, development and promotion of new and existing products or experiences.
Plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources, to achieve project objectives.
Assist filing department with updated product documents for annual filings with the Pennsylvania Department of Insurance.
Evaluate the impact new Federal and States mandates have on new and existing products.
Coordinate cost benefit analysis on current and proposed initiatives and products Train and educate key departmental personnel impacted by the new products and programs.
Analyze and manage a select product portfolio as assigned by the Manager of Product Management & Development.
Partners with key stakeholders including sales, marketing and other internal service partners as well as external stakeholders to ensure all product offerings or experiences meet strategic goals.
Supports risk management, compliance and audit needs as part of the first line of defense.
Update Senior Product Manager on all initiatives weekly through one on one meetings and update Business Review monthly for Executive Leadership review.
Participate on committees that impact/pertain to product development.
Interact with and influence multiple areas of the organization including Legal, Compliance, Underwriting, Actuarial, Executive etc.
Communicate all programs to Marketing Staff to ensure programs are understood and marketed to potential and current members.
Knowledge of and the ability to assess customer needs and provide solutions for them Provides competitive pricing and coverage support analysis for inclusion in filings.
Works effectively with respective teams to apply contemporary thinking and awareness of the current market environment and regulatory landscape to product design.
Ensures the quality, design, experience and value of current products in the market as well as the next product in development.

degree required.
5 years of experience in insurance or medical environment, or relevant product management experience; including 2 years experience bringing multiple quality products to market or into production Regulatory and product filing or equivalent experience Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office including:
Outlook, Word, Excel and Access as well as Internet Explorer.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
Ability to work with various levels of staff throughout the corporation.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to supervise and direct projects as needed.
