Application Support Analyst

Will work with Treasury Management, Online Banking, and Wire Transfer areas of the bank.
Their App is hosted internally.
Role will do application upgrades and installations, troubleshooting and Windows/Server work.
Will work with vendors, do testing with server team and work with the line of business that does UAT.
Must work well independently and have experience with Active DirectoryThe Application Analyst will work in support of the Treasury Management Line of Business.
The incumbent will support a diverse set of business applications utilized by this business unit and their clients.
In addition to the typical application analyst responsibilities, the Application Analyst will be expected to perform more technical functions including:
Systems administration of business applications Installation of packaged software applications on a server or client Deployment of application running under Microsoft IIS Upgrade of packaged software applications Basic troubleshooting of network or file share permission issues Utilizing basic SQL queries to analyze data issues Prior experience in banking in general and Treasury Management application administration is a plus.

This position is primarily responsible for supporting specific components of a large project or support initiative using project management techniques and analytical abilities.
The incumbent diagnoses and solves business problems ensuring decisions are consistent with management directives and the Technology strategic plan.
These decisions greatly impact the corporation and the operational effectiveness of the Technology Department.
This is an entry point for external candidates and an opportunity for internal candidates who possess core competency and education and experience requirements.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Uses their competencies in business requirements, application administration and performance and provides Application support.
Is expected to work at a high level in all phases of hardware, software and application activities providing technical and business support to a defined end user group and monitoring system health, reviewing logs and reports and escalating issues to vendors.
Provides assistance to analyze, implement, modify and monitor application performance and monitors server applications and performance.
Participates in discussions on system requirements and objectives based on business needs and performance goals.
Identifies and explains application performance issues.
Supports business processing requirements and supports installations and upgrades.
Uses basic or emerging Technology project management skills to deliver the various corporate initiatives as part of the Technology project team.
Uses analytical skills to evaluate business implications of application performance.
Participates in the evaluation of the potential of the application platforms to support evolving business needs and growth.
Communicates with lines of business (LOB) users and Technology and reports issues with reliability and performance of business applications.
Interacts with the BA/SA and NE to achieve LOB goals and objectives and uses the performance data to help solve capacity, limitations and performance issues and reports user experiences with system hardware and software.
Assists to solve basic business problems with hardware, software and databases.
Monitors system to achieve optimum performance and minimize or eliminate down time.
Conducts routine hardware and software audits for proactive approach.
Acts as a vendor liaison for assigned applications.
Follows change control procedures and participates in Change Control meetings.
Works with Technology, Project Management Offices, LOB's, vendors and external support personnel, especially while troubleshooting.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
