Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited histology program.
American Society for Clinical Pathology registration HT (ASCP).
Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical laboratory, focusing in the specialty area.
Analytical ability and physical dexterity required for microscopic slide production and screening from human body fluid specimens; troubleshooting ability to correct procedural difficulties.
Analytical ability to evaluate, implement, and update laboratory testing procedures; administer quality control (QC), quality assurance (QA), and quality improvement (QI) proficiency testing programs; resolve technical problems and evaluate test results.
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's of Science degree in a related science.
Previous supervisory experience.
