SOC Security Engineer
This is a full time role with pnc bank.
100% remote.
USC/GC only.
Salary is up to 120K depanding upon location.
Required SKills:
Member of engineering security team supporting SOC (Security Operations Center) environments Must have experience with IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), IPS (Intrusion Prevention Systems) and Packet Capturing Candidate Technical and skills profile:
Describe the role and the key responsibilities in order of which they will be doing day 1 and frequently followed by those they will be doing as the project/work progresses:
oExperience in engineering in Security technology such as IDS/IPS, Packet capture, Antivirus, and forensics oLeverages technical knowledge and industry experience to design, build and maintain security tools technology solutions.
Assists with selecting appropriate platforms, integrates and configures solutions.
oProvides subject matter expertise for enterprise engineering teams, full stack engineers, and clients.
Uses technical knowledge and industry experience to design, build and maintain technology solutions.
oLeads in the implementation of enterprise engineering strategies and best practices to support business objectives.
oIndependently provides guidance to engineers across the organization regarding the development of software components and hardware.
oMaintains relationships with stakeholders, addresses client requirements and provides consultation to shape the success of enterprise engineering.
oIndependently provides expert advice and resolves complex problems and issues involved in enterprise engineering activities.
