Exempt Key Areas of Responsibility:
The Human Resource Manager is responsible for staffing qualified personnel; ensuring employment statute compliance; overseeing all aspects of wage, benefit, workers' compensation, unemployment, training program direction, implementation and administration; and employee relations coaching, counseling and discipline.
All duties include corporate office and all Indus operated properties.
Specific Duties:
Maintain thorough and current knowledge of all human resources/employee regulations and laws, and ensure that corporate office and all properties are in compliance; Coordinate and monitor recruitment, screening and reference checking of all personnel from corporate office and all properties; Implement and oversee benefit program (insurance, open enrollment, non-payroll benefits and wages); Implement, oversee, and input payroll program; Oversee I9 program to ensure compliance and conduct annual audits; Participate in EEO, Unemployment, Wage & Hour, Workers' Compensation, OSHA, ADA, Immigration and Naturalization Service hearings.
Implement policies and programs to guarantee compliance; Operate FMLA program for corporate office and all properties; Communicate new policies, information, and directives to all employees; Ensure staffs' compliance with human resource policies and procedures; Coordinate and monitor recruitment, screening and reference checking.
Ensure backgrounds check standard operating procedure is complaint with federal/state law; Maintain employee benefits programs, wage and salary programs, including performance evaluations; Assist in creating a positive team-oriented environment which focuses on the guest, through employee development and motivation; Monitor and analyze turnover statistics; Conduct training classes; Conduct and coordinate safety training; Establish and maintain safety incentive program; Practice positive employee relations, developing actions plans and initiatives focused improving work relationships, building morale, and increasing associate engagement, satisfaction, productivity and retention including coaching, counseling & discipline; Conduct exit interviews; Oversee community outreach programs; Other Duties and Responsibilities as may be designated.
Education/
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource or related field; 5 years of human resources experience preferably in hospitality field; familiarity and knowledge of employment law also preferred; leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
Planning and organizational skills.
Customer service orientation.
Language Skills:
Excellent clear verbal/written communication skills required.
Equipment/Computer Expertise:
Proficient in Windows, spreadsheets and word processing.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
