o Minimum five years of relevant experience.
o Successful completion of all required background checks, physical (as required by the PA Department of Education), TB test, professional/personal reference checks and any applicable pre- employment requirements of the position.
PREFERRED:
o Associate degree, certificate or equivalent in Business Human Resource or related field OBJECTIVE:
Assist the Human Resource Manager with the overall operation of the Human Resources Department.
Works in concert with the support staff to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization.
Essential Functions:
General Human Resources Administration 1.
Provide general support for all Human Resource functions 2.
Assists administering and tracking worker compensation claims 3.
Completes unemployment forms as requested 4.
Serves as secretary on the safety committee 5.
Assist the Human Resources Manager with employee relations inquiries, policies and procedures and other functions of the human resource department 6.
Completes and maintains the sanction /exclusion screenings report each month for the designated employees and vendors 7.
Performs other duties or responsibilities as may be assigned by supervisor Information & Record Management 1.
Maintains Human Resource Information System in ADP 2.
Assists with data collection and analysis for HR metrics and reporting 3.
Maintains Personnel files 4.
Maintains identified employee training records in the Human Resource Information System Recruiting & Onboarding 1.
Assists with the recruitment process Coordinates and schedules interviews with leadership and interview teams.

Tracks and retains all pre-employment requirements 3.
Manages onboarding for all new employees in all positions Payroll 1.
Monitors the day-to-day operations related to staff attendance 2.
Completes semi-monthly payroll functions to ensure accuracy, timely completion and compliance with organizational policies and procedures 3.
Communicates and answers inquiries from employees regarding payroll and paid time off benefit accruals Employee Benefit Administration 1.
Assists Human Resource Manager with communicating insured fringe benefits to employees 2.
Monitors and maintains the completion of necessary applications and forms for all fringe benefits programs 3.
Assists with the administration of the tax deferred annuity plan by monitoring employee eligibility for employer contributions, processing semi-monthly contributions, employee status changes, loan repayments and required disclosure distribution 4.
Administers employee recognition programs PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Maintains familiarity with Pace policies and procedures, and complies with established employment procedures (i.
e.
, use of sick leave, dress code, use of personal cell phone, Internet and email acceptable user policies) 2.
Participates in professional development goal setting and annual summative evaluation with supervisor according to established procedures and timelines 3.
Actively participates in continuing professional development activities for staff 4.
Interacts with others in a professional manner that demonstrates understanding of the Sanctuary Model 5.
Actively participates on, and/or serves as chair of, a school-wide committee that impacts school-wide programming, as assigned or requested 6.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
