This position requires direct collaboration with the Directors of Development to develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies for direct identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individual major gift and special gift prospects.
The Associate Major Gift Officer will work on special events, annual campaigns, and other development projects, as needed, to support the School of Public Health and School of Nursing.
A successful candidate must possess a proven ability to develop a variety of fund-raising methods, plans, and strategies.
The incumbent should also have highly developed, strong, and effective interpersonal skills, along with the ability to communicate with a wide and diverse range of constituencies.
Lastly, they should have sound judgment, a clear understanding of ethical standards related to development activities, and discretion in interactions with donors, prospects, volunteers, and others.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
