Security Specialist II
Dollar Bank is hiring for a Security Specialist.
In this role, you will perform guard station responsibilities during your shift in addition to executing the monitoring of physical security strategies which consist of video, intrusion, and access control.
Hours of the position are 7:
00 a.
m.
to 3:
30 p.
m.
Monday through Friday.
Principal Activities and Duties:
Serve as the primary security guard station contact during working hours.
Oversee the Bank's third-party security guard and police responsibilities.
Execution of and response to various responsibilities, including but not limited to, surveillance monitoring, intrusion alarms, physical access control, investigative functions, and equipment functionality.
Answer telephone calls and evaluate for proper disposition, some of which could occur throughout the evening or overnight hours.
Complete security guard tours and respond to security, alarm, or emergency response calls.
Communicate in a professional and courteous manner, both written and verbally, with internal and external contacts, visitors, customers, employees, vendors, and security/law enforcement personnel.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED required.
College degree preferred.
One (1) year of physical security experience.
Working knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must have strong customer service skills.
Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
Must be a team player and positive acceptor of on-going change.
Ability to appropriately prioritize workload, meet deadlines and switch tasks efficiently while producing accurate, high-quality work.
Good organizational skills and must be detail oriented.
Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
Must have a willingness to respond to physical security needs 24 hours a day.
Qualifications:
Experience utilizing video, intrusion, and access control systems.
Supervisory experience.
