Summary:
We are actively hiring for our Long Term Care Pharmacy.
We are looking for technicians to fills prescriptions at a high volume pharmacy.
You must possess the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced work environment.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, be patient focused, as well as aptitude in using computers is essential.
Position
Responsibilities:
Data entry:
new patient profiles and medication updates.
Strong communication and solid time management skills Answering phone and triaging calls from doctors, patients.
caregivers, etc.
Process new and refill prescription orders in a timely manner, follow up essential.
Assist with prior authorization claims.
Must be a team player Prepare medication orders for pharmacist check.
Complying with established procedures, rules, and regulations.
Understanding confidentiality with respect to patient/ client care; complying with all federal and state laws applicable to the confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) and electronic protected health information (EPHI); and following HIPAA guidelines regarding readily identifiable protected health information.
Maintaining and cleaning equipment, work areas, and shelves.
Experience and Knowledge:
Experience in a pharmacy a plus.
Strong commitment to providing excellent customer care required.
Positive and effective communication with customers, co-workers, & the medical community; required.
Ability to work in a fast paced multi-tasking environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Organizational and time management skills.
Experience working as part of a team.
