Family Law Legal Assistant
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a legal assistant to support the family law practice group at a boutique law firm in downtown Pittsburgh. This firm offers a friendly environment, work life balance and a competitive compensation package.
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with proofreading, drafting and editing legal documents and client correspondence.
Transcribe dictation and maintain client files
Schedule meetings, appearances, conferences etc. and maintain attorneys calendars
Process incoming and outgoing mail
File electronically using federal and state requirements
Attorney time entry and billing
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a law firm setting working with family law is required
Excellent communication skills
High attention to detail
Trustworthy and ethical
Client service oriented
Ability to type at least 45
