Pittsburgh Regional Transit is seeking a signalman to perform a variety of assignments related to signaling systems. This includes installing, troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining and performing scheduled maintenance on the rail signals, electrical switches and traffic signals.
Essential Functions:
Installs, maintains, repairs, cleans, inspects and tests signal equipment, including, but not limited to:
AC/CD relays, track circuits, switch machines, road crossing systems, training to wayside equipment, trip stop equipment, routing equipment, Genesis System, emergency and standby equipment, power distribution and snow melter equipment. Installs, maintains, repairs, cleans, inspects and tests traffic signals. Performs preventive maintenance and monitors signal conditions. Troubleshoots, adjusts and tests signal equipment, including periodic functional tests. Job requirements include:
Must complete the apprentice training requirements for this position. Must possess a Class C PA Drivers License. Must obtain and maintain a valid Class B PA Drivers License within ninety (90) working days. We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
