A. General Description

This
position
is responsible for managing the Human Resources responsibilities and initiatives across an assigned area under the direction of a Human Resources
manager
. Must have extensive Generalist skills to include:
employee
Relations, Recruitment, Performance Management and general compensation management. (Multi-site experience and high volume recruitment experience required)


B. Essential
job
Functions

The individual assigned to this position must, with or without reasonable accommodations, be able to perform the following essential functions:

Acquisition of talent, including identification of sourcing strategies, screening of candidates, coordinating the panel interview process and approving job offers. Behavioral interviewing, recommending qualified candidates and advising hiring managers. This applies to both professional recruiting and college recruiting.

Leadership Development and Succession Planning, including leading the annual Q1 Human Capital Review process, providing input to the Q3 Succession Planning Process with the CEO and creating development plans as required.


Compensation management, including the annual Merit Review Process, approval of job offer worksheets for internal promotions and solving compensation issues as required.

Partnership with Leaders of assigned areas involving day to day coaching, performance management, policy questions, employee retention and employee relations.


Responsible to identify and coordinate the selection process for internal job changes and promotions.

Conduct employee investigations and recommend appropriate actions.

Recommending and developing policies and procedures to senior management to ensure the company operates within the legal framework of government legislation

Attending regular business meetings (Quarterly reviews, Division Meetings, HR Staff Meetings, Sales Meetings, etc.)

Mentoring HR Generalist(s)

Participating in special projects as assigned

Reports to Human Resources Manager


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
