Job Description:
PwC's Marketing and Sales function is a client-focused, high-performing team, which is strategically aligned to the Firm's priorities and passionately focused on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and driving long-term revenue growth for the Firm. The Marketing & Sales Writing and Editing Services team helps to distinguish PwC in the marketplace by writing compelling business content for proposals and other business development materials. The team supports all aspects of the proposal writing process with a strong focus on such key proposal elements as executive summaries and cover letters. Additionally, the team supports proposal innovation and other M&S initiatives to help improve and innovate PwC's business development process and procedures. Speciality Description (this should be a generic/sales-type description of the Speciality): The M&S Proposal Hub team helps to distinguish PwC proposals through efficiencies and innovation. The team focuses on providing services and tools that allow for rapid, quality proposal development. The Proposal Development Center resides under the M&S Proposal Hub and includes an integrated on and offshore team that helps client service teams build 20%-80% of a response solution. This effort includes executive writing and copyediting of the response.

Experience: 0 Minimum Degree Required: BachelorEUR(TM)s degree Preferred Degree Major: Journalism Knowledge Preferred: Demonstrates proven knowledge and success in roles utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and social media to contribute to the development of business proposals, preferably for a global professional services firm and partnership, emphasizing these areas: -Executive writing and copyediting of responses to business proposalsEURi.e. RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, emphasizing business grammar, punctuation and Exhibiting proclivity for innovation and a willingness to question established routines and practices Skills Preferred: Demonstrates proven abilities and success in roles utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and social media to contribute to the development of business proposals, preferably for a global professional services firm and partnership, emphasizing these areas: -Producing responses to business proposals through synthesizing vast amounts of research, existing content, and information into succinct text, with an attention to analyzing information and detail-orientation when drafting formal business documentsEURi.e. consistency with cross-territorial grammar, punctuation, and businessEUR(TM) marketing and communications branding styles; -Exhibiting diplomacy in discussing, negotiating and building consensus when faced with diverse and varying perspectives on critical issues; -Multitasking to manage timelines and project statuses through exhibiting flexibility and remaining responsive as demands change; -Conducting compelling interviews with people and synthesizing the information into meaningful prose; and, -Leveraging research skills and shared database sources to enhance the content quality.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
