Sr Business Analyst

Under little guidance and direction from the Lead / Project Business Analyst, analyzes business functions to define 'specifications / requirements' for automating and / or improving business processes and/or applications and breaks those processes down into functional components. Uses collected data to write & execute user acceptance test plans to validate all user functionality of applications. Projects & processes with very broad scope and complexity. Assists the Lead / Project Business Analyst with project plan, budget and resource issues. Possess strong project management skills. Assists the Lead / Project Business Analyst in the smooth implementation of projects by providing training, user notifications, systems documentation, and day of / after implementation check out. Competent to work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. Functions as the main / primary liaison between a business unit and the systems applications / development and programming areas. Guides and advises less-experienced Business Systems Analysts. Qualifications Analysts typically possess a Bachelors Degree with very strong analytic and systems skills, advanced knowledge of finance, very strong problem solving & communication skills. 5 - 8 years experience within financial services operations with an advanced understanding of the process or processes in the business unit.
