Sr. Specialist Developer (API Platform Engineer, Scrum, Java, J2EE)
Contributesin the design and development of a two critical applications: MajorExpenditures Approval system and the future Capital Funding Data. These arecritical applications that will be written in the corporate ecosystem that runson the cloud and is written in Java and Angular JS.
Qualifications
SeniorDistributed Developer/API Platform Engineer who is a team player with strongprogramming skills, Computer Science background, experience with continuousintegration and agile delivery (Scrum Development Methodology), strongreasoning skills, and a proven record of delivery on major software projects.
Key developeron the design/development of the APIs to ensure they are consistent withstandard approach, and that the security mediations are within acceptablestandards.
Key developeron the design/development of the interface to our workflow tool via WebServices.
Work with theoffshore team to deliver API's, Test Plan Reviews, and Creating Test datafollowing DEV/Ops procedures
Contribute indefining platform monitoring

years ofexperience in software development required; should have thorough knowledge ofthe software development cycle
4
years ofexperience in JAVA based Web application development required; knowledgeable ofService Oriented Architecture (SOA) with experience in RESTful API design anddevelopment; demonstrated experience of building a new web based SOAapplication into production is highly desired.
Workingknowledge of Document Storage BPM and Workflow BPM is highly desired,especially using Activiti
Bachelor ofScience, Preferably in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, orequivalent
JAVAdevelopment, Spring MVC framework
Web Servicedesign and development, REST/JSON preferred. Understanding of Websockets.
Hibernate/JPA,JDBC implementation
Apache/Tomcathosting environment set up and troubleshooting
Knowledge ofOracle DB, SQL skills.
Systemintegration experience including batch, real-time, including with messagequeues
GoodAnalytical & Communication skills
Good problemsolver and self-starter
