Program Support Assistant (OA)

The incumbent serves as a core member of the Caregiver Support Program service both the Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers and Program of General Caregiver Support Services and works collaboratively as a member of the interprofessional clinical team that provide comprehensive services for Veterans and their caregivers. The incumbent performs duties necessary for the preparation, intake, and indexing of health and administrative information related to the programs. Duties include but are not limited to:
Acts as a timekeeper Handles numerous requests for information such as status of reports, suspense dates, etc. for maters requiring compliance and similar information. Provide ADPAC support to include PIV card, access request, menu reviews and update, TMS reports, and administrative duties. Prepares materials for publication such as pamphlets, certificates, forms, graphs, technical manuals, or comparable items. Maintains fund control points for CSP program. Records and transcribes committee and task force meeting minutes and agendas. Tracks/coordinates monthly home visits and participants for required assessments and appointments. Submits responses to action items. Provides data analysis and reporting. Work Schedule:

Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-06 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-05. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. Specialized
Experience:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-05 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to:
typing correspondence, filing paperwork, preparing/ completing reports or programs, works on various computer systems, provides staff training, working with customers at various levels and/or acting as a liaison. You will be rated on the following Competencies for this position:

Physical Requirements:
The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits at a desk to do the work. However, there may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying of light items such as papers, books, small parts, or driving an automobile, etc. Some occasional light lifting during and in support of outreach events may be required. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
