Supervisory Store Associate
Directs the following work in multiple areas of the commissary:
Serves as a first line supervisor for store associates. Front end operations including patron identification, customer inquiries, check out and cash control. Non-perishable stock control including transporting item and stocking shelves. Meat display and case stocking. Produce inspection, display and rotation. To be creditable, specialized experience must be at the GS-05 grade level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Current or previous federal employees must have held a permanent appointment in the competitive or excepted service for a minimum of 52 weeks at the GS-05 grade level (or equivalent) level to be eligible for the position by the closing date of the announcement. Knowledgeable of multiple departments within a grocery store. Planning, assigning and evaluating work of employees. Working in various departments within a grocery store. Providing instruction and conducting on-the-job training to employees.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
