Arconic is currently in search of Operational Buyer Analyst to join our Global Financial Services group in Pittsburgh, PA.
The Operational Buyer Analyst is responsible for handling procurement related activities including; purchase order processing, procurement administrative support for all Arconic business units, strictly following the rules of Arconic Global Procurement Procedure Manual, Procurement Service Center procedure as well as the SLA Agreements with Global Procurement Management and Procurement Operations as agreed with locations serviced.
Main
Responsibilities:
Understand full end to end PO processes, be subject matter expertProvide procurement administrative support service for US customer base.
Purchase Order preparation to include; request supplier quotations, issuance and follow up with the suppliers to ensure accurate and on time delivery.
Handle incoming emails/requests/ tickets and calls from customers and suppliers.
Resolve customer concerns in an efficient and timely manner.
Process changes to purchase orders in a timely manner, Order Response process, expediting activities, change requisitions or other ad hoc requests.
Provide guidance on the transactional procurement process to requestors.
Build and maintain close relationships with internal customers and suppliers.
Manage and organize calls with locations and vendors on a need by basisManage Back End reports and controlsEnsure adequate controls are in place and are performed with due care, understand and adhere to the SOX policy.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accrediated institution Minimum 1 year experience in Procurement and/or Shared ServicesEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.

Qualifications:
Microsoft Office experience required (specifically Excel, Outlook); MRP/ERP systems strongly preferredStrong customer service orientation along with communication and problem-solving skills Proficient in data entry and management.
Customer-orientation Accurate, independent, proactive, and reliable personalityAbility to manage multiple projects and communicate best practices and process standardization across locations.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
