This '56 Baby T-Bird sports a beautiful yellow/black/white color scheme.
With a 312ci Y-block, automatic transmission and a ton of power options, this '56 is a dream to drive.
Below I will go through the condition of the car.
Exterior:
Finished in a beautiful Goldenglow Yellow.
The paint is in excellent condition.
There are no signs of cracking, corrosion or accidents.
The bumpers, emblems, trim and glass are all in excellent condition.
A nice high quality body restoration was given to this Thunderbird.
The lines look good, any body work completed is of quality and the sheen on the paint is correct.
Its shinny but not overly restored.
This car would do very well and more than hold its own at a Thunderbird car cruise.
There is no hard top for this car.
The black soft top is new and in great condition! Interior:
The interior is in very good condition.
The seat and upholstery has no rips or major flaws.
The door panels look great, the dash has NO cracks.
The arm rests, seat material and carpet were all replaced during the restoration.
The interior lights work along with the heat, vents, windshield wipers, radio and gauges.
The OEM temperature gauge inst accurate but there are aftermarket/modern Temperature, oil pressure and amp gauges mounted below the dash.
Modern gauges that are always good for today's driving.
The power windows and seat works as they should! Underside:
Solid and in great shape! No signs of accidents or corrosion.
The car is not overly restored, you dont need to worry about using a tooth-brush to clean the underside each time you drive it.
Everything is the way it should be! Mechanical:
This is the really fun part because this car is mechanically sorted.
A fresh 312 motivates this little car very well.
It fires quickly, idles nice and pulls very well.
The sound is very fitting and a pure pleasure on the ears.
It had a performance exhaust system but its no too loud, its just right! The transmission shifts nicely.
Steering is made easy with a trouble free power steering system.
The suspension is in great shape as well as the brake system.
Swift Sure power brakes help stop this car swiftly.
Brakes, tires and soft parts are all in good condition.
All of the lights, indicators, horn and windshield wipers work as they should.
1956 is Fords first year for a 12v system so there is no need to worry about hard starts or charging issues.
